Actual theme: Distance and traditional teaching of history: results and prospects

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of modern school lesson in conditional and distance study of history. The author discloses phenomenon of distance training, its elements, method versions of study. On basis of generalization teaching experience fragments of lessons in traditional and innovation distance concepts.

N.N. Maslova, I.A. Niederman. Distance learning of future history teachers at a pedagogical university: approaches, deficits andprospects.
The article substantiates the conclusion that in the conditions of distance learning, students choose to study in cooperation, encouraging teachers to master digital technologies, to design new formats of educational tasks. When formulating training tasks for practical classes in the distance, the approaches and techniques of motivation, «drivers of involvement in online learning» presented in the works of experts in the field of gamification and game design were taken into account. The article presents training tasks that create conditions for dialogue and discussion of educational results in teams, a system-activity approach to the organization of distance learning.

D.N. Rakachev. Features of the presentation of domestic history in school textbooks of Russia and Belarus from a local and global position.
The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of materials from school textbooks on the history of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. It is concluded that a school textbook, while solving educational and educational tasks, is inevitably forced to seek a compromise between the local and global versions of the historical process; it is noted that the Russian and Belarusian versions of this compromise are noticeably different.

A.Yu. Gavrilov. History of the Soviet textile industry during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
The article is devoted to the study of the main events associated with the development of the Soviet textile industry during the Great Patriotic War. It presents the situation in which the textile industry finds itself at the beginning of the war, analyzes the features of the evacuation of industry enterprises in the relocation of production facilities to the eastern regions of the country in the second half of 1941-1942. In the article, the main problems of the functioning and the results of the work of the textile industry, achieved by the end of the war, serious differences are achieved in its development during the period under study from the key sectors of the heavy, defense industry of the country.

M.A. Ponochevny, М.А. Rubtsov. Portrait of a rural teacher during the war: substantive and methodological aspects of a microhistorical project.
The article shows an example of a successful microhistorical school project: general and special features of the life of agriculture at the final stage of the Great Patriotic War are reconstructed on the basis of archival documents and materials from school museums of the rural district. Issues of living standards, social mobility and professional training are shown through the prism of teachers’ personal destinies.

S.E. Lazarev. «A decade of disappointed hopes»: how former schoolchildren and students perceive today the Khrushchev period in the history of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
The author of this article, dedicated to the Khrushchev period in the history of the USSR, carried out a survey of eyewitnesses of that time — former schoolchildren and students, and now representatives of the domestic intellectual elite. From the results of the survey it follows that all respondents received in 1953-1964 excellent education, nostalgic for their childhood, friendship at school, pioneer and Komsomol youth. At the same time, the assessments addressed to the then first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, N.S. Khrushchev, and the data from the height of the past years, are strikingly different — from admiration to outright disappointment and condemnation.

N.V. Frolova. Building a lesson from the position of an activity school as the basis for the development of professional competencies among students of pedagogical universities.
This article demonstrates the existing experience in the implementation of an activity-based approach in the educational process of students studying at the bachelor’s level in the field of training «Pedagogical education (with two profiles)», the focus of History and social studies. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the description of the training session as a variant of the activity-based approach aimed at working out a specific educational action within the discipline «Designing a system of teaching history and social studies».
