The article presents the classification of mass games held among the pioneers in the 20-30s of the last century. The characteristics of games aimed at acquaintance with the revolutionary events of the early XX century are given, propaganda of the children’s communist movement, military-patriotic education, propaganda of the foundations of Soviet life, including acquaintance with production (factories, plants), the formation of applied skills.

The studied topic has an actual historical and political significance. The author of the publication researched the activity of the Soviet NKVD special agency in Western Ukraine after its liberation from German occupiers and proved that it was aimed at neutralizing the resistance of the Ukrainian nationalist underground and ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of Western Ukraine.

I.N. Strekalov. «It is not difficult to notice Stalin’s mistake»: NS Khrushchev on the need to overcome the personality cult when creating the new Constitution of the USSR (1962-1964).
The article reveals the question of what importance was attached by the first secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU N.S. Khrushchev to debunk the cult of personality I.V. Stalin during the creation of the draft Constitution of the USSR in 1962-1964. To highlight this problem, the author uses documents from the fund of the chairman of the working group of the Central Committee of the CPSU on the creation of the Constitution of the USSR L.F. Ilyichev.
