Actual theme: Organization of design and research activities of students

T.A. Polkovnikova. Opportunities for project activities in the process of studying the history of the Great Patriotic War and the blockade of Leningrad.
The author studies the role of project activities to students; considers the ways of using historical material devoted to the events of the Great Patriotic War and the Siege of Leningrad in teaching communication skills; describes possible teaching strategies, teaching techniques, other ways of organizing the learning process; gives sample plans for lessons, extracurricular activities and homeroom periods.

Yu.V. Zevako. The study of the era of political repression in the space of school education through archival and investigative cases of the era of the «Great Terror» of 1937-1938 (methodical and practical aspects).
This article discusses the methodological and practical aspects of working with archival investigative cases of the Great Terror era in studying the topic of the era of political repression in the USSR as part of extracurricular activities or the discipline «Individual Project» enshrined by the Federal State Educational Standards.

O.N. Naumov. What is socioecology?
The article proposes a new complex method in the study of the Russian elite, called by the author socio-genealogical. It integrates genealogy, social history and other sections of historical knowledge, based on the understanding of the genus as a set of socio-genealogical models that change over time under the influence of general historical processes.

D.I. Abibullayeva, L.I. Koroleva. Ismail Gasprinsky-reformer of public education of the Crimean Tatars.
The article examines the process of reforming the education of the Crimean Tatars, which began at the end of the 19th century in the Crimea as a pedagogical movement Jadidism, which received the name «sound» or «new method», the founder of which was I. Gasprinsky. It became an alternative for the dominant Muslim confessional education «usul kadim», that is, the «old method» and had significant advantages in the quality teaching of Crimean Tatar students in primary school.

The article highlights the journalistic activities of A.-G. Keshev and K. Atazhukin. The invaluable contribution of its first editor A.-G. Kesheva in shaping public opinion. The burning problems of the region are discussed on the pages of the edition. Various views on the setting of secular education, the problem of writing and the study of languages ??are analyzed.

V.I. Tashak, E.V. Nolev, A.I. Simukhin. Academic archeology for schoolchildren in the Republic of Buryatia.
The article is devoted to scientific and educational projects for schoolchildren in the field of archeology, organized by researchers of the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan studies SB RAS. The methodology and the results of educational and research activities of schoolchildren in the archaeological expeditions in the Ivolginsk Xiongnu fortress and Okinsky District of the Republic of Buryatia are analyzed.

O.I. Aganson, O.D. Kozhevnikova. «Teaching history in school: modern information technologies for history teachers»: the online school for history teachers in the faculty of history, MSU.
The review covers core issues which formed the agenda of the online summer school for history teachers organized by the Faculty of History, MSU. During the forum devoted the application of the information technology to the study process the speakers paid attention to such questions as an impact of the digital turn on history teaching, e-learning, prospects and possibilities of GIS-methods and VR-technologies use in teaching history in secondary school.

T.V. Evdokimova. Online platform «Interview-based training» and its distribution in the Russian Federation.
The online archive and the Russian version of the educational online platform «Forced labor 1939-1945. Memories and History» as a possible solution to the problems that face the modern education system in the RF. The importance of the conceptual foundations of the platform is emphasized: cultural-anthropological and system-activity. The characteristic of forms of platform distribution activity in Russia is given.

In article there are considered the possibilities of studying of a historical personnel on the basis of memorial literature as resource of complex educational impact on students of senior school at history lessons in the course of formation of patriotic consciousness.

O.I. Sokolova. Daily life of a closed military town in the 1950s — 1980s (on the example of the Vaskovo garrison of the Primorsky district of the Arkhangelsk region).
The article is devoted to the little-studied problem of the everyday history of closed military garrisons of the post-war Soviet past. The author summarizes some of the results of the initial study of this topic on the example of the Vaskovo garrison, for the first time introduces into scientific circulation previously not studied oral historical sources: the results of a survey of old-timers.
