Actual theme: Analysis of modern textbooks and teaching aids

O.N. Shaparina. Implementation of FGOS requirements system to subject results in modern textbooks on Russian history for class VII.
The article analyzes modern textbooks on Russian history for grade VII in order to determine whether their historical and methodological content corresponds to the formation of subject skills. The study showed that there are problems when using educational books in the classroom and extracurricular activities. Modern requirements for the education of schoolchildren go beyond the textbook, which indicates the need to change the content and form of tasks in textbooks.

The article reveals the importance of civil identity formation of students to consolidating the Russian society, the potential of methodological manuals of the series «the Civilizational heritage of Russia» to increase knowledge of younger students about the unique culture and spiritual-moral traditions of the peoples of Russia, familiarizing with spiritual and moral values of the Russian people.

O.Yu. Strelova. Change from east: a new modelof a regional history textbook (on the example of the textbook «History of the Russian Far East in Antiquity and the Middle Ages»).
Using the example of a regional textbook on the ancient and medieval history of the Far East of Russia, the basic principles of the development and implementation of a regional component in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards are described.
