V.E. Polyakov. Aword policy in respect of the Crimean tatars participants of the Great Patriotic war.
The article describes the award policy during the Great Patriotic War in general and in relation to the Crimean Tatars in particular. For the first time, accurate information is given on the number of awardees, both for the war as a whole and for its various stages. The effect of the deportation of the peoples of Crimea on the negative changes in both the number of awards and the status of awards is shown.

The article deals with the circumstances of the foundation and the initial status of Rhegium — early Greek colony founded in VIII B.C. in the Southern Italy. On the basis of the comparative analysis of evidence of the antique authors the author has come to conclusion that Rhegium was from the beginning founded as agrarian settlement.
