The author regards the views of N.V. Gogol on teaching General history that were expressed in 1834, when he was reading course of lectures at Peterburg University. The «Plan For Teaching General history» which had been prepared by him was pleased by the Minister of People’s Education S.S. Uvarov, and was published on his decision.

S.V. Nikitin. Crimes of Nazi Occupation Authorities and Latvian Nationalists in the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Latvian SSR in 1941-1945.
The author of the publication proved that the Latvian Nazis were the leading punitive instrument of the Nazi occupation regime in the occupied territory of Latvia, Belarus and Russia and committed mass destruction of Soviet prisoners of war and persons of jewish nationality.
